Here's some better Chicago news that may be on topic for your blog; the Presiding Bishop of the US Episcopal Church, the Most Rev. Katharine Jefferts Schori, will be in Chicago for the consecration of our new bishop-elect, Jeffrey D. Lee.

The consecration will be on Saturday, Feb 2, and then the next morning on Feb 3, Bishop ++Katharine is coming to my small suburban parish to preside and preach at a single 9:00 AM service. We're a diverse, inclusive and welcoming community, and we're thrilled that we have this chance to worship with her and spend a little time visiting after the service. We're young, old, formal, informal, gay, straight, married, single... and united in faith.

We're St Nicholas Episcopal Church, Elk Grove Village, IL. For more information and directions, see the church website at www.onebreadonebody.org.

Thanks for providing the Daily Office feed also, I'll be adding that to the church blog shortly.

Thank you for doing this, Josh.

And will you soon post information about Akinola's scheduled appearance in Chicago? It's too far for me to drive, but I can share the information with folks who do live in the vicinity.
